The very thought drags lightly along her skin as a quiet reminder that her jealousy still remained and was unlikely to leave her any time soon despite recent revelations.

Sylvain's offer should have brought her comfort but instead her panic mounts. She shoves it the coil down, trying to pretend them away with a weak laugh. ]
