[There was a certainly level of anticipation running through Loki as Sylvain gripped his wrist. The warmth of his hand against Loki’s cool skin feels exaggerated in the moment, but also thoroughly pleasant. It’s been so long since he’s felt someone else’s magic, and he’s all sorts of excited about it. Even just recently he’s started to expand his own abilities, and really, with the TVA not allowing his powers for so long feeling any sort of magic, whether his own or someone else’s, gave him a shiver of joy.
At first, Loki keeps his eyes on Sylvain, watching as he clearly starts to call on his magic, examining his face for any sign of what it must be like for him. Loki wants to know everything, how his magic works, what it feels like for him, but then there’s a tingling, starting where their skin meets and Loki finds his eyes drifting down towards the hand at his wrist. It’s warm, warmer than Sylvain’s hand, but not unpleasant. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
Soon, Loki can feel it running over his own body. He closes his eyes without realizing it, wholly entranced by the feeling as it meets with his own magic causing a calmness in his mind that Loki doesn’t believe he’s ever felt before. He’s always been rather chaotic, even if he presents as calm on the surface. He’s always been able to hide his true feelings. Well, almost always. Definitely when it comes to people who don’t know him, but he’s completely unable to contain the pure joy he feels right now. His whole body relaxes, slumping slightly as his breathing because deep and calm. It’s almost as if he’s asleep while fully aware of everything going on around them.
Loki has never experienced healing magic before, he has his own innate ability to heal rather quickly and even when he was injured, he never trusted anyone to do anything for him. Now he’s starting to see the error of his ways.]
