Back home, I'm a noble, the son of a Margrave, but for most of my life I've been a knight and a soldier. I'm mostly just looking for a good time and people who are open-minded enough to enjoy it with me, maybe try out some new things. There's a lot here I've never gotten to experience and I'm interested in changing that.
Outside of that, I'm a connoisseur of fine food and fine teas. I enjoy cooking, gardening, horseback riding, chess, and discussing a wide variety of topics, whether it's art, fiction, theoretical ideals, or more esoteric topics.
Enjoying myself to the fullest here. Making conections and meeting new people. Experiencing all this place has to offer and finding those interested in exploring it with me.
Varied and many. I had a robust interest in pursuing pleasures of all sorts back home and I hope to keep expanding that knowledge and skillset here.
I enjoy books on a variety of topics, but I've never seen a movie. Plays and operas are far more common in my world and a comparible form of entertainment. I like a wide variety of dishes and have a fondness for trying new dishes from distant places. I have a fondness for spices and rich flavors.
I'm very adaptable and tend to adjust to whoever I'm with, making this a very broad category, since I have a varied taste in companions as well, depending on my mood. I find people interesting and like as many varieties here as I do in my favorite dishes.

[ His fingers flick lightly at an earlobe before he bends closer to inspect it for a moment, hands hovering over the injury. ]
I'll do what I can, although there might still be a bit of a scar afterwards. And no, it's not that bad. It seems to be healing pretty well, actually. But if I can heal it the rest of the way, why in the Goddess's name would I let you just continue on in pain instead of healing it?
[ His tone is faintly exasperated as he calls on his faith magic, letting the healing spell wash over the other man like a warm caress, knitting his flesh back together as he speeds the body's natural healing on its way. ]
no subject
[He huffs a little with a bit of a sulk.]
It's not a big deal if it scars. I want it t-
no subject
It's just a scar. He has plenty. No need to be weird about it, right?]
no subject
[Please don't call him out. He's behaving, see? He is being the best little patient he can be by sitting there obediently for you to heal it.]
no subject
His hands pause, lingering against the back of Wriothesley’s throat as he blinks at the back of his head for a moment. ]
…You want it to scar, huh?
[ A person only does that for the memories. Good, or bad. Although he’s having a hard time coming up with a good reason to want to remember someone trying to tear your throat out with their teeth. Mind-blowing sex or not. ]
no subject
Couldn't you have ignored that?
[Sometimes, you're so into a guy that you offer your neck to them and they want to claim you in a possessive and insane way. It's no big deal. No one would see the scar and know what it means except them.
And, well, Sylvain now.]
no subject
[ Said with complete impish cheer as he tugs on a lock of dark hair before he bends back to his task to heal the man. ]
So why don't you tell me what happened so I don't jump to assumptions and go hunt down whoever hurt you and murder them. Since I think you wouldn't be happy about that. Just guessing.
no subject
Woah, hey! There's no need to go trying to murder him. Why would that even be your go to? [Kizuna is an empath, sure, but he's pretty sure they're an average guy otherwise. Please do not murder his boyfriend-to-be.] Look, it...things kind of gotten out of control.
[At least half of it was definitely his fault. Maybe more than half of it...] I...uhm, I stole all his clothes and sheets and moved them to his closet floor while he was getting me food and basically offered myself to him. [Like a damn animal in heat. This is so much more embarrassing to repeat out loud, he's learning very quickly.]
I offered my neck to him, so it's definitely on me and not on him. Even if I wasn't expecting him to bite so harshly, I definitely wasn't complaining. [Please, why did you make him explain this? How do you talk about making a nest in a guy's closet, having really possessive, feral sex, then getting marked like they're making a claim on you.
It really was quite the week.]
no subject
So you were nesting, basically, and this was some possessive mark gone wrong. Am I basically getting that right?
[ That sounds so ridiculous, but with the weird instincts that had been running rampant through all that, it wasn’t the weirdest thing that had happened, he was certain. Not by a long shot.
Still, he grins and lightly jabs Wriothesley in the back of the shoulder. ] All better, I think. And you still have the mark there to brag about. When you stop being embarrassed about it, apparently.
no subject
Embarrassing.
Sylvain asked him to explain and he delivered!!! They can’t complain about it!]
Gone wrong is a stretch… [He’s pretty sure it was kind of intentional but… Archons it was easier to accept the moment when it was just Kizuna and himself mentally catching up what they done. It’s an entire different situation where he has no way to excuse the things they had done in the wake of telling it to someone else.
Next time, he’s walking into the Primordial Sea on his own volition.]
You’re enjoying this way too much, you know. This is why I didn’t want to talk about it.
no subject
[ Sylvain's grin cannot get any wider right now. Probably. ]
I couldn't help myself.
no subject
You definitely can. You just don't want to. There's a difference and I know you know the difference. [He grumbles a little.] You get it out of your system?
no subject
[ Yup. He's still grinning. ]
I'm just a little surprised, is all. I didn't think you'd be the sort who wanted to be... claimed. For want of a better word.
no subject
[Always said affectionately, even if it is also said in a terribly exasperated tone. But enough of that, he has to honestly consider Sylvain's words for a moment.]
I'm not. Not usually. [But he won't deny that he enjoyed that moment. Ignoring how he was horny out of his mind and it felt damn good, there was also a sense of-] It felt...safe. [And Sylvain probably has learned enough about Wriothesley that the man rarely felt safe. He could be comfortable and could find himself settled, but safe is not a word that the warden usually uses. Not when he has been plucked out from the Fortress into a place that has now taken Furina and Neuvillette away from him.]
no subject
He doesn’t know what Wriothesley’s been through, back in his world, but there are habits, quirks, the other man has that he recognizes all too well. Shares, too, in some cases.
Sylvain knows just how rare and precious that feeling can be. <>Safe.
It’s one of the few things Wriothesley could have said that would have let the playful teasing finally fall away, because that was never something to be made light of. ]
Good. [ he says instead, his voice softening with understanding, reaching out as he squeezes Wriothesley’s shoulder instead. ] I’m glad you’ve found that here.
no subject
He's taken by surprise with the way the other seems to calm down on the teasing. The word 'safe' settled heavy in a way that Sylvain obviously understood. It isn't a word he thinks he would use very often. The Fortress is safe to him, but that's because he had rebuilt it to what it is now. His room was nestled away from the public and the only person who would easily have access to it would be Sigewinne. Sigewinne was safe, but that was because Sigewinne had been that gentle hand throughout his time in prison.
Safe was not a word that comes easy from a man who had safety torn from his hands by the adults he was supposed to see as loving parents. Safe was not the prison that had been owned by a corrupt hand that made everyday its own hell. Safe was not a word that he thinks of very often.
Kizuna though...Kizuna was someone who started to feel safe.
It isn't just Kizuna though, he thinks. His gaze softens.] For what it's worth, Sylvain. I can say that the word applies to you too. You've been ever present since day one. How can I forget Cherry from the changing rooms?
no subject
Here... he's still trying not to think about who he would consider to be 'safe' here. This world is completely different than the life he'd known. The one he's still grateful to have left behind.
But to have Wriothesley turn around and confess that... it catches him completely offguard and for a long moment he just blinks at him, uncomprehending. But it's easier to latch onto that lighter comment than the depth of what that confession means in itself.
Which is why he gives a choked little laugh and tugs on a stray lock of dark hair. ]
I knew you only loved me for my lollipop.
no subject
Wriothesley merely smiles and lets Sylvain do it too. If Sylvain wasn't ready to accept, or even reject his words, then he wasn't going to push it for the time being. He was patient and it would be a lie that he didn't understand to some extent. He might not know exactly what Sylvain went through these countless years, but he can see the way it has molded the man. He sees shards of reflection of himself in the other.
For the time being, he will let the other refuse to take the proverbial hand he had held out to them. The sting was oh so minor, since he already had an inkling of how the other felt.]
You should watch your words, sweetheart. Unless you want me to wax poetic about what else I like until you're red as a cherry. [That's a threat, sir.]
no subject
He wasn't safe. Had never been safe. He was a disaster just waiting to happen. It was inevitable.
But he tries to laugh off that sting of regret, the ache of wishing he could have offered more than that. There's still something wistful in his tone, all the same, even if he's not fully aware of it. ]
I think you'll find I don't blush easily. Even with pretty flattery. [ Especially with pretty flattery. he's heard far too much of it, and all of it empty. ]
no subject
Instead, he smiles, a hand reaching up to grasp Sylvain's chin. He tilts his head as he regards the other.]
When did I ever say it was flattery? I'd mean every single word. [And when has he lied to Sylvain? Other than silly blatant lies.] I'm not the type to say pretty words that I don't mean. Or is that the impression I give?
no subject
He also has no idea how to not do something that wasn’t strictly casual. Not with as intimate as they were. There’d always been a distinct line, before he came here. The people he considered friends, the people he let see increments of the real him, and those he fucked. And no one ever crossed that line, from one to another, or back again. Mixing those two things spelled certain disaster and he already left enough of that in his wake.
He looks a little uncomfortable to be pinned in place by that look, by the fingers gripping his chin and holding him caught there. Especially with those words. ]
It’s not. [ he doesn’t want Wriothesley to think that, for even a moment. ] It’s just that I don’t think that would make for a very long conversation, is all.
[ The long in-depth conversations he’s usually subjected to are far more often full of his faults and failures instead. Those, most people could go on for days and days about. ]
no subject
[He doesn't think Sylvain is ready to hear those things though. Wasn't ready to accept Wriothesley's words, even if Sylvain was sure to know him to be honest.
So he gives Sylvain the chance to move on from this conversation. At least for the time being.]
no subject
I’m pretty sure you could think of plenty to say on just about any topic. But your efforts to distract me aren’t working so well, because I still have not forgotten what you’ve been getting up to.
[ A pointed look, even as he smirks faintly. ] So. Are you going to tell me who it is?
[ Are you regretting letting him change the topic yet? ]
no subject
It's an inevitability.]
Hm? I think you expect too much of me. I have my interests and there's a lot I don't know. I don't think I can make conversation on everything.
[Wriothesley smiles.] No. [Well. What was Sylvain expecting? Maybe if Kizuna and him were actually seeing each other, but he wasn't about to go revealing an identity of someone that he might merely have an infatuation (it's not) on.]
You'll have to work harder on getting that kind of information out of me.
no subject
[ He’s smirking, but there’s no real threat in the words. If Wriothesley wants to keep hi secret for now, Sylvain won’t push him.
He is gonna be watching way more closely from now on though. ]
