My Self-Summary

Back home, I'm a noble, the son of a Margrave, but for most of my life I've been a knight and a soldier. I'm mostly just looking for a good time and people who are open-minded enough to enjoy it with me, maybe try out some new things. There's a lot here I've never gotten to experience and I'm interested in changing that.



Outside of that, I'm a connoisseur of fine food and fine teas. I enjoy cooking, gardening, horseback riding, chess, and discussing a wide variety of topics, whether it's art, fiction, theoretical ideals, or more esoteric topics.

My Future Plans

Enjoying myself to the fullest here. Making conections and meeting new people. Experiencing all this place has to offer and finding those interested in exploring it with me.

Varied and many. I had a robust interest in pursuing pleasures of all sorts back home and I hope to keep expanding that knowledge and skillset here.

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and Food

I enjoy books on a variety of topics, but I've never seen a movie. Plays and operas are far more common in my world and a comparible form of entertainment. I like a wide variety of dishes and have a fondness for trying new dishes from distant places. I have a fondness for spices and rich flavors.

My Ideal Partner

I'm very adaptable and tend to adjust to whoever I'm with, making this a very broad category, since I have a varied taste in companions as well, depending on my mood. I find people interesting and like as many varieties here as I do in my favorite dishes.

[ Noé and Sylvain are pretty equal in height and stature (though Noé beats Sylvain slightly, standing at 6'2"). It's nice to finally be someone around eye level.......

But he looks at the menu, and yeah, it's pretty expensive, but he has just enough chips to cover a basic drink. ]

I think I'll just have a latte since it's one of the more affordable things here, and I think I'd take that over one of the stranger flavors. What about you?

[ He's not used to bumping into those who match him in height, either. Even if he usually only has a few inches on most of his friends in this place. He's rather biased from being best friends with Felix and Ingrid, however.

When Noé brings up the price, Sylvain blinks at him a moment before remembering the other man is new here and offers him a warm grin and a quiet chuckle. ]

Don't worry about the price, it's my treat, you can try anything you like. Order the most expensive thing on the menu, if you like.

[ he's still glancing through the menu himself, noting that most of it is familiar although there's a couple new flavors listed. He's just not sure how adventurous he's feeling just now. Or if he wants to put the other man through dealing with it if there are consequences. ]

[ There is, in fact, a moment in which Noé does think about ordering the most expensive thing on the menu.

That moment quickly passes, though, when he remembers his manners and decides not to get overly excited about it. This is his first time meeting Sylvain. He can hear his childhood friend scolding him now for being so inconsiderate, so instead, he goes for something more modest than the priciest item but fancier than a latte. ]

That's very kind of you. [ He says this with an edge of enthusiasm in his voice. ] Then, could I get...a macchiato? That should be safe to drink, right?

[ Unless it isn't...then whoops. Hehe. ]

As safe as anything in this place. I figure you've got a 50/50 chance.

[ he gives Noé a playful wink, as if he's teasing and that's not actually very real odds. He's not even sure if 50/50 is accurate, he was just basing it on 'drugged' or 'not drugged'.

Still, he slides out of his seat again with a warm smile. ] Sit tight, I'll go put our order in.

[ he's gone and back again in a matter of moments, sinking back down across the other with a warm smile. ] They'll bring it out when it's ready.
